Children’s Eye Health Early diagnosis of eye diseases in children is of vital importance. All children must have eye examination after birth, on 1st and 4th year of age even if there is no problem. At our eye diseases department, diseases such as amblyopia, congenital glaucoma (eye pressure), eye lid diseases, watering of eyes (lacrimal duct occlusion), premature retinopathy (ROP), nystagmus (involuntary eye movements) and congenital cataract are diagnosed and treated.
